Infinity Structures builds on innovative construction technologies and materials. We turn complex engineering concepts into projects, carefully building them piece by piece.

Working from designs created by our affiliated engineers, we use only qualified general contractors, and top brand components. Our goal is to build safe and healthy living environments that have little impact on the carbon footprint of our planet.

In recent months, we have focused our energies on two current areas of concern: COVID air purification and the impact of climate change on infrastructure

BRIDGES

EASY TO SHIP AND LAUNCH 'BAP' BRIDGES

With the ever-changing landscapes created by climate change and permafrost melting, our BAP bridges with spans ranging from 40 to 60 feet, are designed for easy delivery and installation in the most remote locations.

Comprising relatively small components weighing 50-70 pounds, the BAP bridges can be delivered to site by sleds pulled by Skidoos in winter or trailers pulled by ATV in warmer months and can be assembled and launched without the use of cranes.

The BAP bridges are scalable and can accommodate traffic for vehicles ranging from small recreational and utility vehicles such as ATV’s and UTV’s through mid-size pick-up trucks. Upon request, we can also provide bridge structures, which can also carry pipelines, dump trucks, and trains.

CLASS 2500 PSE BRIDGE

The Class 2500 PSE Bridge is designed to carry traffic with a Total Combined Gross Weight of up to 13,600 kg (TCGW up to 30,000 lb.): Heavy duty pickup trucks (Ford F-250, RAM 2500, GMC 2500) with a Total Gross Weight (TGW) of 3,640 kg (8,000 lb.), plus a standard trailer with a TGW of 10,000 kg (22,000 lb.)

Any traffic in excess of a Total Combined Gross Weight (TCGW) of 13,600 kg ( 30,000 lb.) such as Class 3500 Trucks with "Goose Neck" trailers and heavier are not permitted on the Class 2500 PSE Bridge. However, PSE can scale-up and re-design the Class 2500 Bridge to handle heavier truck traffic - as per Canadian Highway Bridge Code or AASHTO, or any loading requirement specified by the client, such as conveyors or pipelines of up to 1.2 meter ( 48 inch ) in diameter.

"Quasi-Self-Deployable", the bridge does not require a crane to set up. It is especially suited for remote regions, as it is designed for performance in low temperatures thanks to the special structural steel used for its critical components.

The Class 2500 PSE Bridge shown here spans 18.3 meters (60 ft) between supports. The bridge can be upgraded to span 21.0 to 27.5 meters (70 - 90 ft)

The bridge can be designed:
  • as a permanent bridge on permanent foundations (concrete caissons) ; or
  • as a temporary bridge on temporary foundations (local stone, or wooden railroad ties ... as shown here)

COVID UV AIR PURIFICATION SYSTEMS

In response to the needs arising from the Covid-19 Pandemic, Infinity Structures now offers Air-Purification Systems installation.

Our Air-Purification Systems utilize ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) as a disinfection method; UVGI uses short-wavelength ultraviolet (ultraviolet C or UV-C) light to kill or inactivate microorganisms by destroying their nucleic acids and disrupting their DNA, leaving them unable to perform vital cellular functions.

INSTALLATION

Our Units are individually designed by our affiliated engineers to suit the specific needs of each project; built with quality components by reputable manufacturers; and installed by TSSA certified technicians, who and have completed several successful installations, from residential systems to large scale rooftop units on tall buildings. Typically we recommend combining this with a High-Efficiency Particulate Arrestance (HEPA) air filtration systems.

A comprehensive proposal for the installation of a Purification System requires an initial assessment of the existing HVAC system, which is subject to a nominal fee. Infinity Structure credits this fee to the project's cost once the Client decides to go ahead with the proposal.

ROOF TOP UNIT OF COMMERCIAL CLOSED CIRCUIT AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM

RESIDENTIAL

According to the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), ventilation and air-conditioning systems (HVAC) alone are not capapble of addressing all aspects of infection control. However, they help control the distribution of the bio-burden of infectious aerosols.

Further, according to ASHRAE, "Transmission of SARS-CoV-2 through the air is sufficiently likely that airborne exposure to the virus should be controlled. Changes to building operations, including the operation of heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning systems, can reduce airborne exposures."
